Hey guys, JoElla here, writing for Tom! Surgery was yesterday all went well.Surgery started at 10:30 am and we got home about 6:30 pm. Dr Reddy placed 2 screws on one side to hold the bone together and the other side a plate and 4 screws. Not making fun but if Tom gets a screw loose now, OH BOY! ::)Anyway he is in a splint, no cast, the doc said he needed room for swelling.Has to keep it elevated at all times. So 2 weeks in splint then back to doc and will be in a boot for some time. He did not say how long. He does have quite a bit of pain, thank goodness for pain meds every 4 hours. He could be a bear otherwise. Thanks for all the well wishes, he'll heal pretty good over time! Again thanks everybody. He can be reached by cell at 214-779-2428,he has that right beside him!
