You can win a bracket race with a fast or slow car, since the race is based on a staggered start determined by your average time ("dial-in"). If nothing else, it's fun to race against your friends in a controlled environment, and you get a time slip that shows your elapsed time and speed.
In addition to the TVWDRA bracket racing, we hope that some
TxPRA Pro Stock racers will be in attendance, doing some match racing and/or making test & tune passes.
Even if you're not a racer, you can still have a fun day at the track, see some fast Volkswagens, and hang out with your VW buddies.
Since Temple Dragway is just about as centrally located as it gets in Texas,
it would be great if everyone reading this thread would help spread the word to VW racers all over the state (via phone calls, emails, posts on VW club websites, etc). More VW racers not only only means more rounds of racing and fun, it also puts more money in the pot.
Mark your calendar and be there or be square!
*** UPDATES AS OF 5/16/2006 ***By popular demand, VW racers will be running the 1/8 MILE at this event.1. Due to the rainout of the 5/6 race at @ Texas Raceway, the
