Saturday, September 16th, 2006 @ Texas Raceway in Kennedale, TX.Gates open at 1:00 pm, time trials begin at 2:00 pm. Geers Engineering is the title sponsor of this race, and will contribute the following great bonus prizes: 1. The race winner will receive a new, MSD billet VW distributor ( $230 value!)  2. The racer with the best reaction time during eliminations will receive a Geers Engineering billet oil filter ( $110 value!)  3. The racer who runs closest to their dial-in during eliminations will receive a Geers Engineering billet oil filter ( $110 value!)  Payout is based on car count. More than 21 cars pays the winner, runner up, and semi-finalists, while a field of less than 21 cars pays winner and runner up only. NOTE: To be eligible to win sponsor bonuses at this race, you must be a current TVWDRA member in good standing prior to the first round of VW eliminations.Texas Raceway Located off of Hwy 820 South. Exit 442A - Kennedale Pkwy/Mansfield Hwy Go south to 3rd light, turn right. Track is 1 1/2 miles down, on the right. Be sure to check out the 2006 Texas Raceway Bracket Racing Rules and Regulations. Very cool sponsor items from Shawn Geers. . Alright, RT and dail game. We have done this several times over the years. Here are the rules for the games: Best reaction time and closest to dail during eliminations-- win or lose. It is up to the racer/driver to present me or Eric Ellis at the end of the night with the time slip to prove time. Must be present to win. So, after the final round, get with me or Eric with time slip. Pictures will be taken of the race winner and winners of the games. Highly recommend if you red light, run the car through to try and hit the dail. You still can win the closest to dail game. Keep up with your RT's. I bet it will take .020 or less to win. But, you never know sometimes. My prediction is a .005 will win it. We do it all the time. We also have a lot of cars that run dead on the dail. Should add some extra fun to the race night. Anybody want to step up to a low ET prize? Any run of the day,TT or elims, would win it. Come on now, we got some cars that can haul the mail  . Up the jets, turn up the boost for a little cash!!!!!!!!!!!. |

For this particular prize, you do NOT have to be a member of the tvwdra, low ET during the race event( TT or during elims). So, you super fast NA cars, turbos, and nitrous cars, step it up and take $50.00 from Nitrous Connections . Must be present to win at end of event, see me after final round. Be thereeee! Carl |

We have a taker , Nitrous Connections will offer $50.00 for low ET at this race... Crow Racing has added an extra $25.00 to the low ET prize... Cool. That brings the total cash & schwag value up to ~$525, and you don't even have to win the race to get a nice chunk of it. I hear that some out of towners are looking to make a trip up to the "big city" to vie for a shot at the low ET bonus cash...  --Eric |
